Prerna Niketan participates in Diwali Mela at St. Mark’s, Meera Bagh

26 October 2013, Delhi

Outreach Team of Prerna Niketan Sangh participated in the Diwali Mela organized at St. Mark’s Sr. Sec. Public School, Meera Bagh. The products made by young adults with disabilities were showcased.

‘Muskaan’, an NGO working for differently abled children and Prerna Nikentan Sangh, our NGO working to rehabilitate polio affected slum children and young adults participated in this Mela from 24 to 26 October 2013, which showcased a variety of Diwali goodies like eatables, diyas, decorative candles, squashes and pickles. Enthusiastic students and parents thronged the mela and made Diwali purchases. The three day event ended with much bonhomie and cheer.

We thank St. Mark's School Meera Bagh for their continued support and encourging the talent of persons with disabilities and providing this wonderful platform to showcase their skills and also generate somme revenue.
